I fell in love with Shanatie Fowler's Gazebo Card. so I thought I would take that gazebo and put it in a garden.
OK, I know you want to know about the grass; it's hand cut with a MS fringe scissor ( I cut through each piece twice)
The gazebo is of course from Freshly Picked (cut 5 times; Once for each wall) Both these projects are very unusual for me, I did not use foamboard; I did use some bar-b-que skewers(painted white) for support. The gazebo has also been stretched (on my G) for proportion)
The beautiful lattice roof that comes with it would not work for this, so I created shingles by welding a circle & square together & then hitting copy/paste many times. (First I made a roof base by cutting a six petal flower from Mothers Day Bouquet (see my roof directions for the carousel) (I trimmed the rounded part of the petals straight across & shingled my roof)
The bird bath is from French Manor (cut three times and glued edge to edge, and then I made a little paper bowl for the top.
The tree is I think (supposed to be a cornstalk?) from Pop up Neighborhood) Cut twice, flipped and cut twice. The leaves on the tree and in the wagon are from MS Birthday Cake Art
The mulch is chopped up paper. The vines are from 'Wall Decor' with Cuttlebug quilled flowers.
The ferns by the pool are from Dinosaur Tracks.
The other flowers and greenery are from Mothers Day Bouquet.
The little red wagon is from independence Day, Cut twice and glued to a little box I made with my scoreboard.
The lattice is plastic canvas.
The chairs (in the gazebo are from Summer in Paris. I removed all the filagree, scored & inked a bit. I made a tiny book to add more interest in the gazebo.
Wow, if I've forgotten anything, send me an email & I will attempt to explain!!!!
P.S. I have refered to the 'Carousel Post" in these directions. It will be up soon; do take a look; THE ANIMALS ARE PAPER!
